No relation.  I found this amazing artist while doing a random Google search for my name.  Turns out there is a singer / songwriter in Nashville that shares my name!  Who knew?  Not many at the time but that has changed.  With the release of his new EP "If I'm being Honest" and subsequent videos, he is quickly making a name for himself in the world of country music.  

I messaged Dan on his Instagram, @dansmalleymusic and asked him if he would like me to build him a guitar with his (our) name on it.  He said yes and the result is in the photo above.  You can see and hear Dan and this guitar in action on his music video "If I'm Being Honest".

Dan has toured with Willie Nelson, Allison Krauss, Tim McGraw, Dwight Yoakam, Carly Pearce and has dates scheduled with Ashley McBryde and Carrie Underwood.
